Baku is the capital of Azerbaijan’s fashion scene. With an international standard of high fashion, walking down ‘Neftchilar Ave’ you could confuse your location to be Milan or Paris easily. D & G, Gucci and Tiffany are a stones throw away from the exclusive Four Seasons hotel in characteristically beautiful architecture from the ‘oil boom’ period of Azerbaijan’s rich history.
In recent years, Baku has also expanded its horizons in international brands and has become laden in shopping centres for all walks of life. Azerbaijani people are very fashion conscious and you will see groups of particularly well dressed young men and women every evening of the week flaneuring the boulevard.
Baku holds regular festivals in the City, and in 2017 hosted its first ‘shopping festival’ which saw a united VAT free shopping across the whole of Baku for two weeks. independent retailers as well as national and international brands joined in the scheme boosting the retail economy over the October school holidays.

This mall is located on ’28 May’ street and draws a young working demographic. With a number of large international brands and cafes such as Mango / Zara and Starbucks inside, it has a huge footfall of people coming into the city from Baku’s Central Station. Port Baku
A brand-new luxury shopping centre, Port Baku is on the cusp of the White City area of Baku. It is a destination centre with lounging areas, attentive customer service staff and an atmosphere of privilege. Park Bulvar
Park Bluvar is located within Baku’s Boulevard Park. It is a multi-storied shopping complex which is designed to have architectural attributes of both east and west. The mall itself includes a large variety of enticing stores and restaurants, luxury stores are located on the first and second floors. A range of eateries inspired by world kitchens from places such as turkey and Italy are on the top floor. Neftchilar Avenue
This luxury shopping street, embodies the surrounds of the ‘White Fountain’ square. with The Four Seasons Hotel and old city to the West and Boulevard Park to the South. This street includes household designer names such as Gucci, Christian Dior, Tiffany & Co and Bvlgary. It is close to more exclusive eateries in the city and is one of the foundation shopping districts in contemporary Baku.
Taza Bazaar
Taza Bazaar is a bright and colourful market located within Baku. It is a traditional market, seeped in old community Azerbaijani culture, and shows how general shopping would have and still occurs in a traditional Azerbaijani home. It sells a range of items from dry and fresh fruits to clothing. It has a large selection of spices, herbs, vegetables and meat delicacies. This is a great inner-city market to visit to taste a more authentic Azerbaijan cuisine.
